I really appreciated the easy access to both Elm Hill and Norwich Cathedral, making my weekend exploring so much more enjoyable as I wandered the charming streets and soaked up the rich history around every corner. The friendly staff added to the pleasant experience, ensuring I felt welcomed during my stay and ready for the day's adventures.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel! The spacious family room offered lovely river views, and the cheerful staff made our stay enjoyable. We loved the pizza special on Tuesday, fresh and delicious. A bit noisy at night, but overall a fantastic experience!

the room was realy nice and spacious, with a lovely clean bathroom. staff were super helpful and friendly, the guy at the bar gave us good info on busses into the city. restaurant had good food and was great value, very chill setting too.

The location is perfect for exploring Norwich. we enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and relaxing in The Plantation garden. Plus, the spacious family room was a bonus for our grown-up kids when they all gathered for movie night.

My kids wished the bathroom offered better safety features.

Had a great time with friends exploring the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and the Cathedral. The garden view was lovely, and our rooms were clean and comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Chloe! Would recommend to anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay.

Friendly staff, but room issues

So we had a quick stay for 3 nights. The check-in was kinda bumpy—had to wait while they served drinks to walk-ins. But the staff were super friendly once they got to us! The room was clean but freezing, and half the lights didn't work, which was a pain. Breakfast could've been better too, felt really cheap. The bar area was nice though!

Unfortunately, the room was cold, with a broken bedside lamp and a few cleanliness issues, including hair in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned properly. while the service was commendable, the upkeep of the facilities needs significant attention.
